Eairth Art

I often go out for a walk with my foraging basket to greet the Eairth inviting a natural curiosity or perhaps an intention or a question like, “What would you like me to know today, Dear Eairth?” ”Who would like to help me with my intention?”

“The Honorable Harvest”
Borrowing from Robin Wall Kimmerer in her book, “Braiding Sweetgrass”, most of what I gather is what I find freely offered on the ground. If there’s a flower, seed pod, or berry still growing, I’ll ask permission of that plant being, listen for the answer and then make an offering in reciprocity.

Eairth Art for Commission

Would you like Julia to create an Eairth Altar or installation for a special occasion?

Perhaps you’d like her to lead a workshop or shared experience with your group.

Eairth Art brings elements of nature, art, and ritual together to create meaning and connection. Julia has created Eairth Altars and installations for individuals and large organizations for a variety of special occasions like the Mt. Pisgah Wildflower Festival (pictured here to honor native plants and wishes for a successful nesting season) as well as for the loss of a loved one (human and fur family)

If there’s an occasion that deserves to be honored, or marked in the heart for all time, an impermanent Eairth Art may invite the preciousness of the moment to linger a bit longer.
